My children and I stayed here for two nights for our Kalahari trip which in my opinion is better and possibly cheaper than staying at the Kalahari resorts. I surprised my kids for their birthdays with this air bnb and it did not disappoint! Very clean and organized and very easy and thorough instructions. Everything you need and more was there! I would definitely book again on our next Kalahari trip :)

We’ve now stayed here twice and had another great experience. The place is clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything worked as expected and we had zero issues during our stay. It’s clear the hosts take good care of the property. We’d definitely come back again.

The apartment is well located in the heart of Sandusky. plenty of parking and very walkable to restaurants. It was furnished as expected and everything was well stocked and working. We stayed in the off-season and found it to be a very good value.

We loved our stay here at The Wilderness during our work week out of town! The home is decorated adorably and has everything you could ask for. We especially loved the bathroom with hot, high pressure water and a high tech toilet. I work remotely and the Wi-Fi was always fast and I had zero issues with my connection. The kids room was so cool with a lot of toys and even their own TVs! The mini tents are sure to be a hit with little ones. We loved all the games and cards as well. Thanks Mimi for such a great stay! We would love to visit again, maybe next time with our nieces and nephews for a Cedar Point weekend!

The space was perfect for our needs. Not far from the main areas we were traveling to with lots of options for dining. The apartment was very clean and cozy with a fully stocked kitchen that was able to accommodate a small family gathering. No need to buy paper plates, cups, etc. This was such a relief! Bed was very comfy. Also, the bathroom was amazing. Dual shower heads with incredible water pressure. But the shining star was the toilet. I’d only ever seen them online but getting to use one was life-changing. Fully automatic with temperature controlled front & back bidet and a dryer. If you know - you know. Traveling when you have a bidet at home makes you even happier to come back home. Aside from that, the host jumped in to assist when the upstairs tenants were super rowdy around 10pm. Lastly, not a negative but more of a neutral: the couches are very small and not super comfy. We would definitely stay again though, just for the bathroom.

Love how the place felt like home, beautiful decorations through and through the house. My kids loved the tents and all the Safari decorations and toys. They didn’t wanna go back home.

Enjoyed a nice weekend away in this fun air bnb for my 13 year olds birthday. The theme and the decor were really cool. We all had a great time. Clear instructions and always responsive with any questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing peaceful Oasis away from home this was one of the Best homes we stayed in. Our host communicated with us very well. pictures does this air bnb no justice you gotta actually stay to get the full enjoyment. Very comfortable and relaxing and comes with so much entertainment for the entire Family

We had such a great stay in Sandusky! We arrived to our stay easily with very detailed directions. It was nice to have all the included amenities and appliances to make ourselves meals. Having an extra bathroom was a great added bonus as well. It was so nice to have a place with a lot of personality and character. Building was very close to a lot of restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed Washington Park, the Merry Go Round Museum and Sora & Oak all within walking distance! Thank you so much to this host for all of their time and care they put into this place.

This is hands down one of my favorite Airbnb rentals! It’s in the perfect downtown location to walk to the waterfront and all of the downtown stores and restaurants. There’s even a gorgeous sushi bar right behind it. The host has put a ton of thought and effort into this property and it just made the stay so much more enjoyable! Loved the retro ambiance and it has all the amenities you could ask for. Clean and quiet, would love to stay here again to visit family!
